Some parts are very honest and pretty darn blunt. Some you might have to skim over, there's a section called "Let's get all the fun gross stuff out of the way," and I cover the gross stuff but it's good to know information. Some I wish I would have fully comprehended beforehand. Not so I could change my mind about the surgery but so I could know to get ready to sit a while. I share my story with all the triumphs and some downright embarrassing moments. If you're considering the gastric sleeve I hope this helps answer some of your questions. If you're just being nosey that's fine, too. I had a few things I wanted to accomplish with this book; I wanted it helpful, I wanted it relatable, I wanted it personable and most of all I wanted it real. I hope I've accomplished that.
